Alrighty, I wasn't going to make a public post about this, because it doesn't really need to be talked about... But rather than trying to explain this to 25,000 people when they all catch wind of it, I'm going to just tell everyone straight out, right here:

As of 9:44 this morning, I will not be an employee of University of Massachusetts like I was supposed to be. While I don't know the whole situation, I do know that it is very severe, and there is little to nothing that I (or anyone at all) can do to fix any of it. I am not the only person who will be affected by this, as I assume the whole department is being sacked. uMass will probably start fresh.

What does that mean? Well, I'm living on borrowed time from here on out. The situation that I am currently in is not a fantastic one, but we will see what can be done to fix it. I do apologize deeply to those who got wrapped up in this situation along side of me. Does this mean that we're completely screwed? No. It just means that I need a week or two to formulate a plan B, get things in line, and see what favors I can call in and what strings need to be pulled to get both myself and my amazingly supportive ~Sanct466 stable. After that, it'll basically be me trying to get things scraped together in mock-stability, seeing about helping out some good friends, and after that:

One day at a time, my friends. One day at a time.

Am I completely distraught? No, not really. Part of me realistically planned for something like this to happen. And while it isn't fantastic by any means, it wasn't fully unexpected. So, while I'm nervous, I think I can get a handle on the whole situation.

Though, in case I need to sell some of my stuff, you guys should totally buy it. Hurr hurr.
